What you will be working on
As Clerical Officer (Crime), you are responsible to oversee the Crime Registry, to ensure proper management of case files and Police reports, to ensure accurate data collation for preparation of management reports.
You will track and monitor various statistics and indicators to ensure accurate and proper records keeping.
You will collaborate with stakeholders such as the Attorney-General’s Chambers, Courts, other Police units to effectively manage the exchange of files and information.
You will handle public enquiries and applications for certified true copies of police documents.
You will manage a group of Fulltime Police National Service (PNSF) officers in the Crime Registry and allocate tasks appropriately when required.
You will liaise with the vendor on archival matters regarding physical folders such as recall, storage, and payment matters.

What we are looking for
REQUIREMENTS

- Possess some work experience;
- Possess good written skills in English and are able to converse fluently in English;
- Preferably possess good computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Excel;
- Possess effective communication and good interpersonal skills;
- Able to perform a role associated with meeting members of the public and provide good customer service;
- Able to work as a team, is responsible and disciplined;
- Able to meet tight deadlines, handle and manage work-related issues; and
- prior work experience in a regulatory or licensing environment would be advantageous.
